We will never know why they felt obliged to kill him, probably he knew so much, that not only these guys, but also many western politicians felt unsafe. The trial was a circus. What I found most dis  Ceausescu had done a lot of harm to his people. But a fair trial was not only a necessity for a new start, it would a posteriori have helped also to understand how much was meanness and stupidity in the decisions of the presumed authocrate, and how much had been necessity and tough luck. Iliescu si Ceausescu, la o vizita oficiala. Dupa vizita presedintelui Traian Basescu in Spania unde a mentionat ca in 3 ani romanii se vor intoarce acasa si dupa vizita de lucru a premierului Tariceanu in Italia, Partidul Social Democrat a lansat voalat si el campania electorala pentru Romanii din diaspora.
