Venue information The Australian Open facilities at Melbourne Park are second to none in the world. The Open is hosted in a beautiful tennis complex that offers excellent side-court access as well as three world-famous show courts. Rod Laver and Margaret Court Arenas hold 15,000 and 7,500, respectively, with Hisense Arena holding an additional 10,500 guests, all three of which have roofs, giving them one more roof than any other grand slam.

I've been to all four grand slams, and this one was by far the most laid back. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. Be prepared for the weather. When we got there our first day in Melbourne was 92, then next few days we were wearing jackets.All in all, it was a great event and I'll be back.
